Terms of service

These terms apply to the Tungstenwake game platform, its website and its online services ("the service"), operated by Tungstenwake ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
Tungstenwake is a collection of multiplayer mini-games delivered through one application. Matches are run on our servers. We may add, change or remove games, modes and features at any time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance and outages happen.
2. Accounts
You need an account with a valid email address to play online. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf. Additional local players on your device play under your account and your responsibility.
3. Subscriptions and payment
A free plan lets you play online with the limits shown on our website (which lobbies you can join or create, which games, and how much play time per month); we may change those limits at any time. A paid subscription removes them. We offer a monthly plan and a yearly plan; the current prices are shown on our website and at checkout in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further charges are made. Refunds are handled as described in our refund and cancellation policy. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect for an existing subscription.
4. Conduct
Do not cheat, tamper with the game client, attack our servers, harass other players, or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules or these terms, without refund for the remaining period in cases of serious abuse.
5. Your content
Display names, chat messages and lobby names must not be offensive, misleading or infringe anyone's rights. You keep any rights you have in what you write; you give us permission to show it to other players as part of the service.
6. Our content
The games, artwork, names, audio, text and software of Tungstenwake belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to play; it does not transfer any ownership.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
8. Ending the service or your account
You can delete your account by contacting support. If we discontinue the service we will stop billing and refund any prepaid period that cannot be delivered.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the application at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
